The Wisconsin Film Festival strives to fully involve all its patrons in the film-going experience. Whenever possible, we work with filmmakers and venues to activate assistive features (closed captions, audio descriptions, etc.) embedded in the films.
Please note that many independent filmmakers are limited by budget, and cannot include assistive features in their work. Additionally, many Festival films are shown as sneak previews or premieres. Such films may not have the assistance technology built into the prints that are provided to the Festival.
Assistive Technology
The venues listed below offer assistive screening technology. We encourage patrons to visit the venue websites directly to learn what hardware is available and how to reserve it, pending accessible print availability.
