UW Cinematheque

UW Cinematheque

Address: 4070 Vilas Hall at 821 University Ave. 

Take the stairs on the University Ave. side or the East Campus Mall side of Vilas to the fourth floor. The Cinematheque is in the free-standing room on that level OR take the ramp to the 3rd floor main entrance.

  • Or walk toward the lake and find the lovely Howard M. Temin Lakeshore Path which will take you along the Lake to the Memorial Union at Park St. Head south of Park to Music Hall and then west to Chazen and the Cinematheque. 
  • 20 – 30 minutes if you walk the lakeshore path to this Festival venue.

University Avenue Ramp – UW Lot 20 

  • $2/hour on Friday; FREE on Saturday and Sunday.

Bus Options

  • 80 Bus: The free 80 bus runs every 50 minutes on the weekends and passes the Lake St. and University Ave corner near Chazen, Vilas Hall and Music Hall, but it also takes riders to Union South.

Barrymore Theater is located on Atwood Ave across the street from Monty’s Blue Plate Dinner.

Here are some parking options to consider when attending films at Barrymore Theater. 

The lot at the rear of the building is free. 

After 5 pm, patrons can park in the lot at the corner of Rusk and Atwood or in the lot behind the United Way building to the east of that intersection.  

Bus Options

  • C Bus: Takes riders along Atwood Ave. to the Barrymore Theatre. 

Bartell Theatre

Address: 113 E. Mifflin Street 

The Bartell is just off the Northeast corner of the Capitol Square near the intersection of Pinckney and Hamilton. 

Parking Info

Here are some parking options to consider when attending films at Bartell Theatre.

After 6:00 p.m. street parking is free, but limited.  

Capitol Square North Garage

  • Located on the corner of E Mifflin St and N Webster St. 
  • 5 minutes to the Festival venue. 

Bus Options

  • A, B and E Busses: Takes riders around the Capitol Square past the corner for the Bartell Theatre. 

 

Flix Brewhouse

Address: 85 E Towne Way 

Flix Brewhouse is on the east side of the Mall, near Dick’s Sporting Goods.  

Parking Info

Flix Brewhouse has a large free parking lot on the east side of the Mall near the Flix entrance. 

Bus Options

  • A Bus: Runs along E. Washington to East Towne Mall near Flix Brewhouse.
